Looking for a child care center?
Would you like to know more about the cost of child care in The Hague before you look for a suitable location for your children? Then we at House by the park would like to help you. Our childcare has been in existence for more than 20 years and we have had English and Dutch speaking groups since the beginning. We do not charge separate fees for these. Do you have a preference for the language of the group in which we will place your child? Please let us know on our registration form.
Child care costs in The Hague
Our prices are comparable to those of any other childcare center in The Hague or Scheveningen. You always pay an all-inclusive price with us: hot meals, healthy snacks and diapers therefore cost nothing extra. In order to give your son or daughter the best care and to develop a close bond with her or his friends, we would like to see your child(ren) at least 3 days a week. You can of course schedule an occasional extra day (current cost is 110 euros).
Our rate
Basically, with us, the more days your child attends our childcare in The Hague, the price decreases. If your child attends our childcare center in The Hague for more days, the prices decrease slightly. We assume a minimum of 3 days. The hourly rate is then 11.94 euros and the monthly cost without supplement is 1,707.43 euros. For 4 days a week we charge 11.85 euros per hour and 2,260.00 euros per month. And if your son or daughter comes 5 days a week, we charge 2,805.21 euro per month. You can still apply for childcare allowance.
Childcare allowance possible
Because we are registered with the national child care register and the Tax Office, you can apply for a supplement. This can cover 80% of the costs. It depends on your income and your family situation in The Hague or Scheveningen how much of the childcare costs you will be reimbursed.

Development journal
Your child will receive his or her own diary. In it the teachers write about the development of your son or daughter. They will also note any special circumstances during care. You can also write down any wishes or changes in your child’s care in the diary. Our staff will then take this into account during the nursery visit.
