We have been offering care for over 20 years, where we also have English-speaking groups. This is handy for expats, but it also allows you to prepare your children for emigration. Many fun activities

Our leaders love to do activities with the children. For example, in the summer we go to Scheveningen beach under expert supervision. Or we go to the Westbroekpark or to the petting zoo. If we stay inside, we read, tell stories, do crafts or bake. Sometimes we dance and others make music. We can also go swimming for an extra charge or a hairdresser can come by. So with us in The Hague, a lot is possible.

Information for parents

To ensure that your son or daughter can bond well, we work with small groups and a home-like atmosphere. To strengthen this process, we ask you to bring your child to our extracurricular care at least three days a week. Only in this way can a good bond develop between the children and the leadership. We are open until 6:10 p.m. on every weekday. On official holidays we are closed, as well as 6 days to be determined in the summer vacations. We will inform you in advance.

Why Comme a la maison

We are not the only out-of-school care center in The Hague or Scheveningen, but we are unique in our concept: at least 3 days of care per week, the only one in The Hague. This ensures continuity and stability for the children.

Natural social development: together with other children you learn through play. With us, children play outside a lot and we take many trips. We also provide space for doing homework and/or assignments.


Our half-English, half-French out-of-school care group consists of children ages 3 to 11 and can accommodate up to 9 children. We are very internationally oriented, our children come from many different countries. We work with permanent leaders, and no temps.
